301 Redirect

URL redirection, also called URL forwarding, is a World Wide Web technique for making a web page available under more than one URL address.

When moving a site or page from one location to another, a 301 redirect maintains traffic and established visibility despite a new URL. Search queries that once directed users to your old site will now focus on the new URL.
