5 steps to choose your first best beginners guitar in India

What things should you check while buying a guitar?

Step 1 — Clear your Goal

The most important thing you can do before buying a guitar is

Fixed your goal for what purpose you are buying a guitar like it is for recording? Just for a hobby or to gift your friend? or you want to learn this beautiful instrument for fun,

Once your goal is clear, then 2nd step will be

Step 2- Fixed your budget

setting your account is essential because plenty of guitar brands range from 5K to 25K +. You have to decide how much you are willing to spend on your first guitar. If you are going to start your journey, then my suggestion will be to go for a guitar which will range from 2K to 10K, (5K to 10K will be best)

Once you have decided that yes, now this is my budget, then jump on step 3

Step 3 — which brand to choose?

It is my personal belief that you should choose a guitar brand which is more aged than 7 to 10 years,

Some Famous budget-friendly Brands are Cort, Yamaha, Fender, Kadence, Pluto, Epiphone.

Which are available from the range of 5000 to 10,000 RS

Some guitars are under 5K, But I feel they don’t provide good quality.

Once you choose your guitar brand, the next step is to check which wood they are using?

Step 4 which wood is better?

Usually, Guitars are a combination of 2 to 3 kinds of wood. Most commonly, the wood used in guitar is

Linder, Mahogany and Spruce

A guitar that is under 5K uses Linder Wood.

If you will ask me which is my favourite wood tone, my answer is a combination of rosewood and Mahogany. They give you a sweet and crispy tone which you will love. Once you decide which wood is ok for you, you can check which extra things you should consider

Step 5 (Some Extra Things to Consider)

· Check if your guitar bag is padded one

· Ask for one extra set of string

· Take the different size of plectrums

· Check if you are comfortable with guitar size

· Check distance between guitar strings and fretboard (If you are comfortable with guitar action)

· Check if you need a cut-away guitar

And finally, don’t get too confused with so many options, consider three good brands and start your beautiful journey of learning and playing guitar.
